Hi Tony,
It's a common problem for beginners/novices and not peculiar to lee oskars. It has more to do with the manner of your draw. Make sure you are inhaling and not just sucking. There are enough suckers around already. (oldie but a goodie... ;P)
A good practice tip is to watch yourself play in front of a mirror to make sure you can see your chest inflate and deflate when you are inhaling and exhaling. You shouldn't really need to adjust the reed.
