I also make sure to clean all the polish off (cause you going to put your mouth on it all the time) another good idea is after i polish it and wash it off, I put the plates in a small container and let them sit in scope. (mouth wash) this makes sure you dont get any bad tastes when playing. as for the reed and the middle piece of the harmonica, I don't touch that because I don't want to mess anything up. anyone have any ideas how to clean he middle piece without messing with the reeds? Later.
