Not sure what you are doing exactly, so what I'm telling you might sound a bit over simplified.
First go to this site
http://www.musicrobot.com/
And find a midi for a song that you would like to learn
When you go to download it don’t just click on it
Right click it and then click “save target as”, you will then have to choose a place to save the midi to. Save it to your desktop for a start.
Now go and open your “Harping Midi” programme, (assuming that you have already downloaded it from
http://www.harpingmidi.com/ )
If you don’t have a shortcut to it on your desktop, you will find it by clicking “Start – Programs - Harping Software - Harping!”
It will look like a spreadsheet when you open it, you can now go to the top of the page and click, File – Open, and open your midi from your desktop
Have you got this far yet?
Now click the play button at the top of the page,
You will find other buttons that will allow you to speed up the midi,
Change the key to suit any harmonica you want to play
Delete tracks that you don’t like
And of course you can get the programme to write tab for the melody line or any other track.
You wont be able to save any work you do until you register the programme, but it is not very expensive to do this.
