Hi Guys Did any of you ever try that Harping midi program? I've just downloaded it and spent the last four hours playing with it. It's great, you wont believe the stuff you can do with it. It converts midi files into harmonica tab. The first thing that you do is download the
program from http://www.harpingmidi.com and install it on your computer Then you can download a midi of any song that you want to play from http://www.musicrobot.com/ When you open the midi in this
program you can silence all the tracks within the midi except the melody. It will then write out the tab for the melody line. You can then change the key it is in too suit whatever harmonica you want to play. You can tab the song for all key positions on one harmonica and it will tell you each time, how many blow notes, draw notes, bends, over blows and over draws there are in that position, It even tells you how many notes are unavailable. When you have found a position that the song works in you can delete the melody track and play the song for your self over the original midi. Not only can you learn any song you want but you will have cool backing tracks to play them to. Check it out and let me know how you get on.
