There is a huge range available. Most of mine are Lee Oskars and I've only blown one of those out in the eight years I've been using them. Hohner Marine Bands used to be my favorite before then but I'd flat one about every 2 months and they really need to be broken in gently. The next step up was a Meisterclass in D and what a beautiful harp it is. The piece'de'resistance however in my collection is a Suzuki Overdrive. For incredibly powerful, crisp , grunt, I haven't yet found its equal.
Difficult to hold as the covers have individual holes for the reeds rather than a vacuous cavity serving the entire side of the harp. And sometimes the fingers block the holes and you miss a note in the lower register. If I could afford it I'd swap the entire collection for these. Not cheap at 50% more $ than a
Meister but definitely worth it. If your blowing out Lee Oskars it has to be that you're trying too hard. Relax. and listen.
