The truth is that if I play it without the guitar or any background, it dont sound anything like Johnny B Goode. The best way to learn it is to play along to Chuck Berry. You will notice that the song is in Bb and you will need an Eb to jam with it in second position.
This dont sound like much help but you will see what I mean when you do it. It is worth going out and buying Chuck Berry's Greatest Hits just to jam with this song. You will have a lot of fun
