If a song is composed of C D E F G A notes, then you can use C and F harmonica but G, because F note is missing in G harmonica. If a song is composed of C D E G A B notes, then you can use C and G harmonica but F, because B note is missing in F harmonica. I guess your song is in the third pattern. The second one is the usual 2nd cross position. The third one might be called as 3rd cross position but the naming is not sure. I call it 3rd though.
