Whatever harp (key) i take i can't get the tabs you started with.

Ha ha ha ! Yes live Grateful Dead performances do often sound like a mess , some studio recordings too . And thank you , Knud , for your trouble and time . I did hear it in your tab , very good . I actually got that first line from searching with GOOGLE . GOOGLE posted a link with the first line , but the link would not work for me so I was unable to see all the tablature . Maybe I did not segment the tab I posted properly . here is a link to a studio recording of the song , I wish I had you ear for music and notes .

Well, that first line isnt good/right/usable. I think you got it here: http://harptabs.com/song.php?ID=5101 (i see that now). Another time i would prefer you to name your sources and link to a file or something . Makes things easier . And we want that - that's why we have the forum.

Use my tabs - they are much better!

Yes I think it was from that link you posted [ harptabs ] , because it doesn't work , I mean I can't view that website for some reason .
In the future I will try and include all I can to make it easier for others here to help me esp a clear version of the music if I can find it . And once again thank you , Knud , I am sure your tabs are much better . Now I will try to make your tabs sound like the music [ I am not very good at the moment ] . It does make it easier to play songs / music that I am familiar with .

I'm getting it a little better each time , Knud . Most of the verses sound like they the same tabs with different lyrics , except verses 3 and 6 . Those verses have identical lyrics .
Would you mind helping me with that as well ?
The verse goes like this .

Hello Lucky62! You must be on Hughesnet or Comcast! Both of these have issues with harptabs.com. I am butting heads with hughes net with this issue. Harptabs is being more than helpful, but hughesnet keeps trying to say they are off line when I know they are not. I have spoke with 5 techs so far and they keep putting me off and saying someone will call in the next 2-3 days and a week or two later I'll get a call and the same run-around. I haven't been able to get on harptabs since September, I'm glad it isn't Harmonica Club!
If you are on Hughesnet, please call and complain about the issue. The more complaints they get the more likely it is they will push to get it resolved.
Ain't Knud a great guy! I believe he'd give us the shirt off his back! My hat's off to ya, Knud! We all appreciate all you do here in this forum!

paulbunyn , I have a cable provider similar to comcast , it's called optimum online , I haven't heard of Hughesnet . Last year I was able to view haptabs , but hadn't noticed until very recently that I can't .
Knud was very helpful with my request , and I really appreciate what he did to help me out .
I am glad I found this forum
