I've been playing guitar for years, and just recently decided I should be one of those guys who plays a harmonica at the same time. Not one to do things half way, I found this site while looking for info on how to do note bending.

Have you tried to make a guitar body out of a portable foam canned drink cooler (picnic type) and 2" X 1" wood neck?
I saw an article about that in a magazine somewhere.

Another article directed making an I-mic out of a plastic soda bottle neck and plastic watering can cap(with mic parts from Radio Shack).
