here's something from my new band BooM...it's a tribute to ZZ Top...my 1st run in with them was Aspin CO. 1968. i was fortunate enough to have been the one who took Dusty to his motel just prior to their gig at the "Center". i was too young to get in at the time but no problem, cause i carried his bass in, way before the show started. i was asked to sit in earlier that afternoon but by the time the show had started, i was too drunk and puking in the parking lot. thanks for that Dusty...LOL... so i will never be able to say that i jammed with them, cause i was stupid but on the same token, i have never been too drunk to drive since that unfortunate night. i got taught a big life lesson eh?
