I've been using a chromatic for a couple of months. I have owned the harmonica for about 5 years - but practically never played it. Then i got the idea to make it similar to my diatonic - so that the slide get the tone go 1 semitone down (like bends on a diatonic). Also i changed the tuning to Paddy Richter (like my diatonics). Everything i play on the diatonic i can now play on this chromatic "immidiately" - and vice versa.
Also i don't have those enharmonic C's - and can play 3 octaves on 10 holes (like the diatonic).
