re: File Upload Size Oct-17-05 8:26pmYou can still keep double the quality of an mp3 bitrate with wma sound files instead, and be even smaller than that. If you're running a computer on Windows, you should be able to play wma as you would an mp3.

re: File Upload Size Oct-17-05 7:17pmseamus i just tried wavepad and was able to reduce the filesize form 3.8 mb to 1.91 mb
the only thing i did is i reduced the sample rate down to 16000 and the bitrate down to 62000
using a samplerate of 16000 and a bitrate of 32000 makes the file less then 1 mb small
so think the point is when you record a file you have to select a low sample and bit rate
usualy all recording programs let you choose different record settings
